Trevor joins us to support the TURNING POINT Heritage Research & Digital Skills Workshops we are running in partnership with Sweet Patootee Arts. As a freelance creative with a background in Digital Marketing, Trevor is well-positioned to help the participants of the workshops develop their digital skills while they explore and create potential material to be used for the TURNING POINT project.
With this role Trevor will bring together all of his digital experience, to ensure all participants in the TURNING POINT project are supported in the right way.
In his career as a marketer, Trevor worked across multiple industries, systems and disciplines. This included creating social media processes for retail store teams, leading omnichannel campaigns, creating websites, and keeping up to date with the constantly changing landscape of digital.
Now, Trevor works as a freelancer, primarily focusing on photo and video, pairing that with his marketing knowledge to help deliver projects for individuals, corporations and arts organisations. One of the projects that you may have come across is Black, Queer & Done an award-winning feature-length documentary where he was the DOP and Lead Editor. This was Commissioned by Coventry Pride and produced by Varyah Ltd; exploring the experiences and representation of Black Queer people within the UK and global arts and media sectors. You can find out more about his work on his website, or feel free to connect with him on LinkedIn.
Being British with a dual Caribbean heritage, Trevor tries to support organisations like BHWN and projects like TURNING POINT wherever possible.
