My Path My Voice - Don't Settle

History is a collection of stories. But not all stories are always represented. How do we make all these stories visible? By changing who tells these stories! This is why Don’t Settle, along with  Roundhouse Birmingham are collaborating to give you a unique new programme! The programme aims to offer a perspective shift into Birmingham’s rich history of public services, architecture and communities by recruiting 6 passionate young People of Colour to form an activator group that will work together to create an accessible Black Heritage Audio Tour for Roundhouse. You will be supported by Roundhouse staff & external facilitators to build an understanding of the significance of the building, its surrounding area and about black history in Birmingham.

Black Heritage Walks Network will be providing the young activators with key black heritage training and supporting the development and curation on a new virtual black heritage tour at Roundhouse.
